With a parent who is elderly, I can see the need for someone to stop in once or twice a month to help with writing checks and balancing bank accounts.  This can be tedious  and very time consuming for seniors.  For a small flat rate I can come to your location and assist with bookkeeping needs, including those listed below. 
ELDER CARE  BOOKKEEPING:

- Verify beginning balance on bills is $0.00.

- Contact vendor to correct balance.

- Check writing.

- Schedule payments to avoid late fees.

- Reconcile bank accounts.

- Update check register for current balance.

- Mail services.

- Supplemental insurance services.

- Services performed in your home or your choice of locations.
